NZ Golf Guidelines
Alert Level 2 – Golf is all GO!!
Café & Bar
Rules & Guidelines under Level 2
· Seated & Spaced
o We have set up the bar & café space to fulfil all the government requirements for operation during Level 2.
o The Cafe and Bar will be open – please note Saturday/Sunday – service will be upstairs only
o We ask that you sit at a table (10 people max at one of our big tables, seating is spaced accordingly. We do have some tables that accommodate a 4 only.
o Contact Tracing Register – please ensure you have checked in BEFORE your game. You will be asked if this has happened. If you haven’t checked in our Staff will do this for you. We have QR codes all around the clubhouse – please use these through the NZ Covid tracer App
o Sanitiser is available in many areas around the clubhouse/restrooms and on course. Please use this.
o When our members leave, every table and chair is sanitised.
· Ordering and delivery of Food & Beverage
o The café/bar counter is one person at a time and upstairs is two people (one at each till) at a time. Please stand on the crosses on the floor.
o We are encouraging our members to pay by eftpos or credit card (contactless)
o When members leave they must bring all empty items from the table and place on the dishes trolley
· Opening Hours
o Friday – 10.30 – 7.00pm
o Saturday 10.00 – 7.00pm
o Sunday – Thursday 12.00 – 4.00pm
General Golf Operations
Pro Shop Hours Sunday – Thursday 9.00 – 4.00pm, Friday 9.00-5.00pm & Saturday 7.30– 4.00pm
1. All players must be registered to enable contract tracing if required – please ensure you book on-line or phone Patrick – email pro@stclairgolf.co.nz or phone 027 630-9887
2. All players should wash and dry their hands before and after play.
3. Groups of golfers should maintain a minimum distance of 2 metres between themselves and other groups on the course.
4. While the national handicap system will be operational, physical scorecards should be avoided if possible. If scorecards are used, exchanging of cards should not occur. Please mark your own card and print your “Markers name” on your card
5. No pin on the practice putting greens, cups will be lifted
6. Pins / flagsticks will be in the hole should not be touched or removed by any player.
7. There will be NO Bunker rakes, however you will be able to place within 1-club length no nearer the hole in bunkers. Please repair the surface as neatly as possible after your shot.
8. All drinking fountains, ball washers, will be closed.
9. On-course toilets are open
